Emmaus Biblical Seminary (EBS), began its work in Haiti in the mid 1960's. Though it has undergone many changes in the past forty years,
EBS's goal has remained the same:
to train Haitian men and women to be Christ's hands and feet in Haiti.
Approximately 60 students a year come to Cap-Haitien to study at Emmaus. Current and past students are serving Christ throughout Haiti and the world as pastors, evangelists, teachers and missionaries!
Life is hard for our brothers and sisters in Haiti, the poorest country in the western hemisphere. Sickness, lack of education, malnutrition, political unrest and unemployment are common.
Various false religions also keep this once-beautiful country from progressing.
However, among those that serve the Lord, joy, discipleship, sacrifice, contentment and passion are also common.
EBS believes that God has a plan for Haiti, and is equipping Christian men and women to be a part of that plan.
